‘The natural beauty of creation’ is a short animated film, produced by Compagnia Zappalà Danza and made by the director and animator Michele Bernardi, one of the most important Italian animators and cartoonists, author of significant collaborations in the world of television, music and advertising, in collaboration with Roberto Zappalà.

The project of the film was born from Roberto Zappalà’s need to deal with a new language for him, that of animation. So he asked Michele Bernardi to collaborate in the making of a film, which could reflect the atmosphere, the poetics and the suggestions that the choreographer produced on the scene of the creation Rifare Bach.

The natural beauty of creation is premiered on 25 July 2021 at the sixth edition of Zabut – International Animated Short-Film Festival in Santa Teresa di Riva (a town in the province of Messina, a few kilometers from Taormina).

Roberto Zappalà’s creation, Rifare Bach, from which the film takes its cue, premieres on 29 September 2021 at the Politeama Theater in Naples in the frame of the Campania Teatro Festival

“The film is a desperate invocation to total and natural love; carried by the rustle of the wind it crosses the animal dynamics of the dancers and sounds. An animation created with the rotoscope technique – says Michele Bernardi – in the free interpretation of imaginary places and dreamlike visions “.
