In the last three years Milan Tomášik concentrates his practice and his choreographic research on the different levels of muscle tension in the body. According to Milan Tomášik, tension and relaxation are extremely communicative and have the ability to express emotions, creating different atmospheres on the scene. Thus, within a rhythmic and articulated body, the union between a certain level of muscle tension and specific emotions is resolved in contrasting but connected scenes, in this case, on the occasion of the creation for the young ensemble CZD2, Milan Tomášik focused on a rhythmic composition of movements in relation to different emotional states, creating dark and ambiguous atmospheres, but also magnificent scenarios rich in harmony and beauty.
