“Pangea”: it’s the supercontinent that incorporated almost all of Earth’s landmasses in early geologic time.

Labile: it’s an adjective that indicates what is expected to disappear quickly.

I imagine that all the lands gathered in a single one. A single land, incredibly solid only in appearance; like the stability of appearance over time.

I wanted to approach such a inconceivable and not perceptible for the human being word, to an adjective that designates a quick and fleeting transformation, to express the desire to inhabit the space in which certainty and uncertainty alternate in a perpetual motion.

Labile Pangea is an investigation on the precariousness, on the changeability and on the impossibility of keeping everything together without yielding anything to time, but also It would like to be  a reminder of our desire to look for eternity in a place where it can’t exist, except in our thought.
