Concerto Fisico is a composition for physical and vocal instrument, a crooked and crooked greatest hits that has nothing nostalgic to tell the story of a group through the stories of which it has become a vehicle. A jukebox that awakens the emotional accents of a memory that is still present, of how we transformed ourselves, of the sand from which we emerged, of the Creatures, of the wooden horses built for Troy, of the fire extinguishers thrown into the dark, of the sea of milk where Woyzeck and Andres talk about the void, Desdemona’s desperate scream, what happened to Thebes, the Resistance, the struggle and the Revolution, about how all the Bad Lambs are in the end, about the mirrored floor and a rope orange, of power and heavy coats of 1918, of stuffed foxes and sexual seasons, of death and a Brazilian with a green plume, a small white dog, taboos, plastic ducks and Kenyan acrobats, firefighters and priests, an accident and a motorway service station, a radio and a city always on fire, the why of things. Then everything disappears, sucked into the eyes, as if it never existed. Physical Concert is a musical tale for actions that traces and redesigns the history of Civil Ballet, which was founded during a long artistic residence within the former Psychiatric Hospital of Udine, one of the centers where Basaglia revolutionized the concept of madness. Everything was born in that place, isolated from the world and at the same time in the center of its burning fire.
