Daniela Bendini

Daniela was born in Genoa in 1978, and she studied at Ass.Alicia Wronska. In 1997 she started to collaborate with  AtamasTeatro Aosta and occasionally with Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa. In 1999 she took part in Aterballetto’s specializing course, under the direction of Mauro Bigonzetti, with whom she participated to the production Jerusalem at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa. IN 2001 she collaborated with the Ensemble directed by Micha Van Hoecke and afterwards she moved to Barcellona, where she entered the company IT Dansa, under the direction of Catherine Allard, performing in choreographies by Jiri Kylian, Nacho Duato, Rui Horta, Ramon Oller, Jo Stromgren, etc.In 2003 she joined the compagnia zappalà danza with whom she still collaborates as a dancer and assistant in different company’s productions. On behalf of Roberto Zappalà she holds some contemporary dance workshops in order to transmit his chorographical language, in different places, such as Scenario Pubblico (Catania) for Modem studio atelier course, Dansacademie (Arnhem – NL), Opus Ballet (Florence). In the last years she has begun a personal artistic study as a free-lance dancer, and she currently works with several artists, like Monica Casadei, Giovanni Dicicco, Roberto Pierantoni, etc
