He was born in 1982 in Prague.He studied classical ballet and contemporary dance at the State Dance conservatories.

He was also a member of grupo capoeira Praha for seven years. Jan has taken workshops with Uri Ivgi (ISR) – Johan Greben (NL), Kathelen Helmsdorf (USA),

David Zambrano (VEN) and with a choreographer and teacher Jan Kodet (CZ). He has collaborated with dance companies Nanohach (CZ´), 420people (CZ) and

choreographers Shusaku Takeuchi (JPN) and Lenka Bartunkova (CZ) and performed at number of venues, such as the National Theatre, the Estates Theatre, Archa Theatre,Ponec Theatre in Prague and LG Arts Center (KOR), Theatre de Caen (FR).

He was member of Modem Studio Atelier, specializing course of compagnia zappalà danza, in 2010 – 2011.

He started his collaboration with compagnia zappalà danza in August 2011
