Silvia Rossi

She was born in Prato, where she began to take the first steps of his artistic career at the age of 7 at Imaginadanza, in Prato.
At the age of 17 she entered the professional world, immediately starting collaborations with Simona Bucci, Samuele Cardini, Marina Giovannini and Anna Balducci.
In 2009 she received a scholarship and moved to London to further her studies and continue her education and in 2012 she graduated in Dance Theater with a 1st Class Honors at Trinity Laban College in London.
In the same year she began working as a dancer in the Transitions Dance Company taking part in the creations of world-famous choreographers such as: Tom Dale, Lauri Stallings and Augusto Corrieri bringing the show ‘Triple Bill’ on a European tour.
The following year she obtained, again at Trinity Laban College in London, a master of arts in Dance Performance.

During her career in London she continued her collaborations dancing for Sally Marie, Valerie Preston-Dunlop, Susan Sentler, Zoi Dimitriou, Sonia Rafferty and Pompea Santoro and Veli Peltokallio in a reconstruction of Mats Ek’s show ‘Down North’.

She returns to Italy to participate in Modem Pro, a master for professional dancers to study the Modem language and Compagnia Zappalà Danza repertoire. .

Since 2015 she has been a dancer in the DNA Company of Bologna directed by Elisa Pagani being part of all the productions until August 2019.
In the same period she also works as a dancer for Simona Bucci for three different productions staged in the theaters of Bologna, Novara and London “Royal Opera House”.
In September 2019 she took part again in the Modem Pro intensive program to deepen the language of the choreographer Roberto Zappalà and the Company’s repertoire, at the end of which she has been selected to be part of the CZD2 giovane compagnia zappalà danza.
In 2020 she participated in the creation of ‘Rifare Bach’by Roberto Zappalà and since then she collaborates as a dancer with Compagnia Zappalà Danza.
