Was born in Singapore. He was trained in dance in Singapore and at the same time he studied at the National University of Singapore where he achieved the degree in artistic and social sciences with specialization in Sociology and Psychology. Later he furthured his studies at the Nationale Ballett Academie in Amsterdam. Since 1992, he has been working with dance companies and independent groups in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Singapore. Among them : Balletto di Napoli (I), Nationale Ballettacademie (NL), Ballett Hagen (G), Introdans (NL), Lanonima Imperial (S), Compagnie Thor (B), La Renaissance de la Danse (G), Tamara Stewart (NL), Stephan Koplowitz (G), etc. In recent years, he has also began making short choreographic works, as well as teaching and giving workshops. He is a resident member of the Compagnia Zappalà Danza since September 2004.
